Specially Curated Father's Day Gift Guide
Hey moms! Remember that special day we got to celebrate a couple weeks ago in lieu of being the wonderful, loving mother’s we are? Yes, of course I’m talking about Mother’s Day. Hopefully that day was filled with lots of love, relaxation and rest! And fingers crossed it didn’t create a week full of picking up hidden messes.
Well, now it’s our turn to make Father’s Day a happy day for the lucky fellas in our lives. Are you stumped on what to get your favorite guy? I’ve put together a list of ideas to make this Father’s Day one he won’t forget! Bonus, this list of ideas will range from free to luxury to accommodate any budget.
Free – It’s the thought that counts!
Plan a picnic at a local park (or beach if it’s local)
Offer a shoulder or foot rub to soothe achy muscles
Have the kid(dos) create a book with their artwork and favorite memories and add a cute printable
Outdoorsy type? Go on a hike or nature walk
Feeling frisky… pull out that lingerie
Turn up the heat. BBQ some steaks (or favorite grill food) and show him who’s Queen of the Grill!
Make a reservation to his favorite restaurant and head to a movie
Bake (or buy) him his favorite dessert
Get a new board game the whole family will have fun playing – Candy Land anyone?
Take him to the batting cages, driving range, mini golf, arcade, bowling alley or skating rink
Has he been talking about starting a new project, business, learning a new skill or hobby? Find a book relating to the topic and give him the extra support (aka push) he needs
Have an absent-minded professor? Get him a Tile for all those lost keys, wallets, etc.
Plan that much-needed getaway. Surprise him with tickets to that bucket list destination.
Go on a Disney cruise. It’s the perfect family getaway and they range from a few quick days to weeks on the open sea
No time like the present, get him a new timepiece - did you say Rolex?
Update his travel bag - Tumi, Gucci, Louis Vuitton
A few great places to find additional inspiration at a fraction of the cost are Groupon, check Yelp for check-in discount offers, Living Social, and a favorite for discount designer goods is Gilt. Hopefully these fun ideas gave you some help on what to get that special guy in your life.
Please share on how you celebrate Father's Day! Do you have a family tradition? Leave comments below and tell us all about it. We're always open to suggestions as well.
P.S. Father's Day is Sunday, June 17th this year
